Letty Sue Jamison (Richardson)

Letty Sue Jamison Richardson, 80, died peacefully at home with family on May 29, 2015. She was born August 18, 1934 in Moorpark, California to Hugh and Irene Bradley Jamison. Growing up in Moorpark, Letty was a cheerleader for Moorpark Union High School before transferring and graduating from South Pasadena High. Letty attended Pasadena City College. Her work career included waitressing at different times, working for AT&T, Union Oil Company and Standard Oil Company (Chevron) where she was instrumental in implementing the transition of their service station payroll operation from comptometers to an early form of computerization. She later co-founded a real estate group with her husband Bill, with the primary responsibility of commercial property management.

Letty traveled the world extensively - an early visitor to China, including a trade show in 1979. She was an accomplished quilter, knitter, and enjoyed many other arts and crafts. She was gifted in hospitality and taught her children to care for others. She also volunteered her time and efforts for many organizations, including Hospice.

Letty is survived by her husband of 52 years, Bill; children, Mark (Cindy) Price, Mary Price, Bryant (Julie) Richardson, and John Richardson; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
