Paul Devore

Paul Malcolm Devore, 78, of Lake Oswego, Oregon, died February 5, 2015 at his home. Paul was born May 12, 1936 in Oakland, California and grew up in San Marino. He graduated from the University of Redlands, and earned his MBA at UCLA.

Paul worked for Deloitte, Haskins & Sells for 22 years, becoming a partner. He later worked for US Bancorp, retiring as CFO in 1994. Paul was a longtime active member of Lake Oswego United Methodist Church. He served on the boards of Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Portland Center Stage, and the Hardy Plant Society.

Paul was a very loving, generous, and ethical man, often working in the background to encourage and support people. He was grateful for the blessings in his life, especially being married for 56 years to his best friend, Mickey. Paul will be greatly missed, as he was the backbone of his family. Surviving to celebrate his life are his wife, Mickey; brother, Bob (Mary) Devore; sister, Merry Lombard; children, Laurie (Harry) Winters, Suzanne (Dale) Wagoner, and Ted (Mimi) Demura-Devore; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
