Janet Winget passed away on April 22, 2013, in her home in Murrieta, California, at the age of 82.  Born on February 2, 1931, she was the daughter of Harold and Alta May Linhoff.  She is survived by her brother, Ralph Linhoff (SPHS '44); four children, Scott Winget, Sheryl Villapania, Stacey Berge, and Shelley Petritz; and her ten grandchildren.

Janet grew up in San Marino and spent most of her adult life in Orange County.  She was a gifted artist and loved the ocean and her cats.  She will be greatly missed and remembered by friends and family as a kind and caring person, and a loving mother and grandmother.
