Earle was one of nicest, hard working, focused, and talented individuals I've known. We've lost a good man.

Earl and I variously shared the position of last man on the JV tennis team in our senior year.  I barely just made the team and proudly wore my letterman's jacket until someone stole it, with the JV Tennis Team patch and all.  I guess I wasn't considered enough of an athlete as some of the guys on the football squad.  I never replaced it.  Earl was a worthy opponent and a great guy to play against, a true sport and a good companion.  I'll never forget him because of those moments.  I'm sorry to hear of his passing.  - TK
