Alex Maldonado

February 18, 1975 - June 26, 2021

At age 46 of acute cardiac dysfunction. Alex grew up in South Pasadena and attended Arroyo Vista, SPJHS, and SPHS. He played football throughout high school and was a member of the legendary sophomore JV football team that went undefeated that year under Coach Jeff Chi and Bob Navarro. But, his greatest achievement was being a father to his daughter, Natalee. He coached her softball team and her AYSO soccer team.

Alex had a wicked sense of humor that is now a rare quality these days. He will be missed by his family and friends and will be remembered for his devotion to his daughter and for his devotion to the community he grew up in his whole life.

Survived by his mother, Mary; brother Christopher '96, sister Vanessa '10; and daughter Natalee.
