Nancy Olson Kemp
November 9, 1931 - October 8, 2021
Nancy was born in Pasadena, the daughter of Earl and Myrtle Olson. She attended USC and graduated with a degree in music. She married Paul Kemp in 1965 in Carson City, Nevada and they remained deeply in love the next 52 years until Paul's passing in 2017.
Nancy was a very successful Realtor in both Southern California and Silicon Valley. She prided herself on arranging all elements of a real estate transaction, and she had many repeat customers over the years due to her attention to detail. The personal touch she developed as a realtor carried over into her retirement, as she was actively involved with Habitat for Humanity of the Mendocino Coast. She was also a supporter of the Mendocino Music Festival and the Mendocino Film Festival.
Nancy supported Paul in all his endeavors and enjoyed traveling with him during his career in international business. They visited many corners of the globe, and she loved to come home and relate the episodes to family and friends. She enjoyed home just as much as travel, sitting on the deck watching the ocean and beach at Hare Creek. Nancy was a loving grandmother to her five grandchildren. There was never an occasion in their lives where she failed to shower them with love and attention. She is survived by son John and daughter Carla, who miss her greatly.
