Keith Priest

June 12, 1959 - April 15, 2025

My beloved little brother, Keith, 65, passed away at St Mary's Hospital after a valiant fight with severe lung disease. He lived in the wonderful neighborhood of Waverly Woods in Athens, Georgia and took care of his parents Carl and Sylvia before their deaths. He served in the Army for eight years, where he worked as a paramedic and sang tenor in the Army choir. He later performed with me and our dad in the folk group the Priestie Boys. He was proud of his son Jesse and Jesse's wife Sarah and his grandson Brodi. 

Keith is also survived by his Portland-based brother Glenn '68, and his wife Sally, and their daughter Jess. He also has a brother, Kent '70, in Oklahoma. We sang "Swing Low, Sweet Chariot" and other songs at his bedside. Keith's longtime girlfriend Lisa was a loving companion; they did crafts together and watched many a movie over the years.
