Charles Edmund Coots Jr

Charles E. Coots, Jr. (October 22, 1925 - February 23, 2011) served in the Navy during World War II and was a long-time resident of Capistrano Beach, California.  He enjoyed his model railroad, running as many as five engines simultaneously.  He owned and operated South Pasadena Plumbing until 1983, when he retired to the Orange County area. 

He is survived by his only daughter, Cyndi Gould of Pleasanton; three grown grandchildren, Anika Smith of Pleasanton, Christopher Coots of New York, and Cassandra Gould of Carnelian Bay.  He also had three great-grandchildren, Blythe, James, and Savannah Smith.  His wife, Margaret, and sons, Stephen and Robert (SPHS '75), all passed away prior to his passing.
