Juliana VanWinkle Doms, born February 4, 1945, passed away suddenly and peacefully in her home January 4, 2010.
As a devoted environmentalist and activist for citizen participation in politics, she strived for balance between preservation and growth while residing in Sebastopol since 1972. She was upbeat, humorous, a caring mother, and a go-getter.
She is survived by son and daughter-in-law Mike and Lisa Doms; daughter Kathy Doms; two grandchildren; brother and sister David and Marden VanWinkle (SPHS '61); and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
