April 7, 1955 - October 26, 2018

My heart is broken as my sister Tina, brother Peter, and I say goodbye to our sister Roberta. Cancer took her from us in about eight weeks. She was my sister 'twin' as every photo of me growing up has Roberta by my sister wearing the same clothes my mom made for us. We fought like sisters and we loved like sisters. Her greatest joy was being a mom to Robin and Scott and was blessed to be married to a wonderful man, Randy. Her grandkids called her Grammy. She grew crazy pumpkins and giant sunflowers.... Now we are three and we will miss her terribly! I hope she and my dad are having a wonderful reunion in heaven while enjoying a giant ice cream sundae with all the trimmings.

If sunflowers grew in Heaven please pick a bunch for me. Place them in my Sister's arms and tell her they're from me. Tell her that I love and miss her and when she turns to smile, place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for awhile. Because remembering her is easy, I do it every day. But there is an ache within my heart that will never go away.
