Mary Kathryn Sargentini passed away peacefully at her home in Pollock Pines on July 7, 2011.  She was born in Tryon, Oklahoma on September 7, 1940 and has lived in Pollock Pines for the last 28 years.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Renato "Reno" Sargentini in 2008.  She is survived by her daughter, Terry Lynn (Sargentini) Lonsberry of Oroville; sister, Wanda Fennell of Las Vegas; nieces, Julie Reyna and Amy Perdue of Las Vegas; and great-niece, Aden Prado of Las Vegas.  She also leaves behind longtime best friends, Viola and Gene Inama and Sheri and David Duncan; and her adopted sons, Robert, Daniel, and Harry.

Mary and her late husband Reno enjoyed sharing their love of nature, mountain breezes, the first snow, a full moon, and just watching the dust fly by.  They enjoyed good meals and debates on just about any subject, over a good cup of coffee.
