Loren retired from the Gas Company and moved to Medford, Oregon.  It was there that he died from cancer at his home on June 10, 2002.  He is survived by his wife Monica and two daughters, Heidi and Sandra, all of Medford and his sister Louise Ross (SPHS '60).
