Bob Baumann
January 22, 1942 - October 8, 2022
My father, Bob Baumann, died after two and a half months of hospitalization. As many of you know, my father was the life of the party and you knew when he was in the room. He had a passion for traveling that was only eclipsed with his obsession with golf. He will be missed.
Bob is survived by his wife, Maribeth Holm Baumann '62; daughter, Lori Baumann O'Leary '92 and son, Gary Baumann.

Those Were The Days!
I've known Bob Baumann since Junior High. We went through the High School, PCC and later on the National Guard. After marriage we still hung out having weekly parties on Lyndon Avenue. Attending was John and Diane Ludlow, Diane's brother and sister in law, Dale and Patti McMillan, Chuck and Sue Johnston, the Flynns and, of course, Bob and Maribeth. One night we had Heckel Lynn who owned Heckel's restaurant in South Pasadena. He was also the assistant equipment manager for the LA Rams and had a lot of players attend our parties. One evening, we were talking to the Rams quarterback, Roman Gabriel and told him that our wives were his biggest fans. It would be a big favor if he walked on over to where they were sitting and said hello. He did and they all looked up an said, "Who Are You"? Roman looked over at us and said, "Sombody Is Going To Die"! Yep, those were the days and Bob will be missed.
