Donald G Rogers (1939 - 2014) was born to the late Donald and Esther (Gafford) Rogers. Raised in southern California, he graduated from California State University Los Angeles, Pacific School of Religion, and University of Southern California. He served in the ministry in Phoenix, Arizona, and returned to California to become a Social Worker for Los Angeles County. He eventually became Media Services Manager, retiring in 1998.

During college, photography became his passion. He used his skills as part of his career and spent many hours photographing weddings and families, especially at the Huntington Library.

Don is survived by his wife Karen; their children Allison (Chris) Stevens and Erik (Anne Johnson) Rogers; sister-in-law Lyn Rogers of Washington; grandchildren Cole and Ryan Stevens. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, James C Rogers (SPHS '59)
