Sherlene Mitchell Oliver (June 26, 1947 - March 22, 2016) filled a very special space and those who knew her can understand. Teaching was her passion, and that is evident through her life's work. From her beginning days in Boise, Idaho, to her final days in Tehachapi, and everywhere in between, her testament and compassion will live on and continue to inspire.

She touched so many lives, made wonderful friends, and was very blessed throughout her years. Thank you for enriching her life and for the outpouring of love and continued support. Sherlene is survived by her daughters, Alisha, Laura, and Sarah; granddaughters, Hannah and Hailey; and sister, Arlene Mitchell Borton (SPHS '69) and brother-in-law Scott Borton (SPHS '69)
