Carolle Bellamy

Carolle Bellamy

School Site Coordinator for the School Improvement Program from 1980 to 1990, died of lung cancer on December 22, 2003.  During the time she was at South Pasadena High School, she was the mainstay of the high school office.  Always available to use her computer skills for various projects, always willing to undertake any task; students and staff gravitated to her pleasant, positive nature, and she always had time to help them.

Carolle and her husband Joe, residents of South Pasadena, were active supporters of many high school extra-curricular activities, particularly the music and drama program.  She and Joe could always be counted on to help chaperone the Junior/Senior prom.

She left the high school in 1990 to take a position in the Financial Aid Office of the University of Southern California.  At her death she was the Associate Director of the Financial Aid Office for USC.

Carolle is survived by her husband, Joe, daughter Kit Bellamy Bermood '89 and Kit's husband Matt.  In Carolle's memory, a stipend/scholarship was presented to a graduating student of the class of 2004.
