Margaret Olwen Thomas Pettit, of Capitola, California, beloved wife of James W. Pettit, daughter of the late H. Ivor Thomas.  She was born in Mexico on March 14, 1887 and died August 11, 1962; she was 65.

Mrs. Pettit was a long time resident of South Pasadena and a teacher in Los Angeles county schools; since retirement she had lived in the Monterey Bay area.
