Richard 'Dick' Beedle disappeared while piloting a small private aircraft presumably lost at sea near Pisco, Peru on July 5, 1964.  He was survived by his wife, Corinne Audria Vance Beedle (SPHS '41), his daughter Leslie Beedle; and brother, William F. Beedle (SPHS '37).
