Robert Williams

November 15, 1924 - December 19, 1999

Robert D Williams, a Center City attorney for nearly 40 years, died of an embolism at Chester County Hospital. He lived in Malvern, Pennsylvania. Mr Williams practiced with Dechert, Price & Rhoads until retiring in 1991. He served on the firm's management committee for many years, his family said.

Born in Montclair, New Jersey, he graduated with a bachelor's degree in political science from Haverford College in 1948 and a law degree from Yale Law School in 1951. Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Frances Wickham Williams; daughters Priscilla W Briggs and Katharine W Burnett; a sister; and three grandchildren.
