After working as an actor for many years, I made the illogical switch into enterprise software solution selling. If only Dolly's Records had stayed open longer life may have been a bit easier. And then Fosselman's closed. Yikes. But I do remember fondly Geoff McCloud, Dave Carlson, and I working at Steve Barna's family liquor store. A real foundation for life outside the bubble. Also, as one of the first ice-cream scoopers at 31 Flavor's on Fair Oaks, I was able to supply my friends with a steady stream of 'sugar'. And during High School I had the privelge of cutting Ray Solari's hair during one of his 'back' problems. As you remember it didn't take a lot of creativity to cut hair in those days and my dad had a set of shears and my rates were very reasonalbe - free.

During the 60's and 70's we ran around like chickens with our heads cut off ending up at various times in New Mexico, Oregon, Idaho, Arizona, New York, Europe, Mexico, etc., etc. and of course, Highland Park.

South Pasadena exists in every cell of our beings. All my family, mom and dad (both deceased), and my sibs (Linda, Kate, John and Scott) have left South Pasadena only physically.
