Victoria 'Torie' Jones Snow Mountain

I am now retired from public school teaching- I taught 19 years at South Medford High School, Medford, Oregon. I taught English Second Language and Spanish for Native Speakers.

I am the Artistic Director of Ballet Folklórico Ritmo Alegre, a Mexican folk dance troupe that provides classes for children and has a performance company that performs over 80 times a year in Southern Oregon.

I lived in Santa Cruz, California 1967-1978 where i attended UC Santa Cruz, then taught in prvate and public schools.

I lived in various places in California including San Diego 1980-82 where I worked with an American group called Los Niños in Tijuana.

I moved to Southern Oregon in 1983 and have lived in a little farm house between Talent and Ashland since 1984.

I like to travel, especially in Mexico and try to take a trip every summer.

My parents lived in South Pasadena for most of their adult lives. I lived there from age 1 through 18 when I left for college.

In the past 10 years both my parents have passed away and I have no family members living in South Pasadena.

I graduated from SPHS in 1967
My brother Richard "Dick" Jones graduated in 1969
and now lives near Seattle, Wa.
My sister Elizabeth "Betsy" Jones graduated in 1971 and now lives in Santa Cruz, Ca.

My father, Gordon Jones attended SPHS in the late 30's, early 40's.
My mother, Barbara Jones, attended Alhambra High.
