My family all graduated from SPHS. We all moved down to the San Diego area along with our parents in the late 80's.

School Memories:

Some of the most fun memories we have as a family were going to the football games especially while my brother Randy was on the team.
South Pasadena High had a great football team,so when we would win we would honk our horns
all the way home to let the community know we won!
It was such a fun place to grow up. We only had one high school and one Jr. High so it was a very friendly and close community. Even though we were close to large cities we had a small town feel.

Organizations, clubs, sports groups, and other groups I (did or do) participate in (in high school and/or now):

We attend North Coast Church in Vista, Ca. Our family has been very involved and blessed through the ministry of Larry Osborn and Chris Brown.

Milestones & Epiphanies:

We had our 30th wedding anniversary on December 14th.

[Date] What's happening in my life now:

We have four wonderful children, 29, 27, 25 and 23, and an amazing daughter-in-law.
Our oldest son was in a motorcycle accident five years ago and is paralazed from the chest down. He is very gifted and has not let his accident stop him from being successful. After purchasing a Toyota FJ Cruiser four years ago he decided to start an off road business and has designed and developed many off road products including a winch mount that does not look like an after market product. After making his own hand gears and wheelchair lift he has developed a passion to design handicap equipment at a price that would be afforablefor all.soon. We are very proud of him. Chris and his wife, Kari, are expecting their first child in five weeks!

Pastimes & Hobbies:

We entertain large crowds in our home quite often. Our passion has always been to open our home to others and we have been very blessed by it. One of our events was an old fashion circus for 200 junior high graduates.
Our family has been involved in many events through the years, which lead to my daughter and I starting our own event planning business.

Favorite Music, Songs, Bands

My husband and I love some of the music from the 60's and 70's, classical, country, blue grass and I am an American Idol fan. We also enjoy our worship music at church.
We have a fire ring where we bring the guitars out and sing and play all different types of music. When our entended family gets together we have jamming sessions with guitars, keyboads, trumpets. bass you name it. We have so much fun!!!

Favorite Books, Magazines, Movies, TV etc:

I love home decorating so I am into the decorating channels, extreme home makeover, etc. I love to watch comedies, the news and a variety of movies.

Additional Comments:

My husband and I have raised four kids. We built a house and have enjoyed woodworking and decorating together. Bob is a electronic engineer, and I am a homemaker/event planner. We are always busy. When we can get away we love to walk around downtown San Diego, the beach or go up to Julian. We love living in San Diego and have been very blessed to have family and friends here. We enjoy taking a cruise or camping in Mammoth.
