Patti had been ill for an extended period but never let her illness prevent her from enjoying her life as much as possible. Survived by her husband, John DeLuna; brother, Michael McKeown '65.
Patty was a wonderful person - very kind and hospitable to me and my wife whenever we were in town....her husband John is a great guy we extend our condolences to all who knew her. She will be missed. (Her Christmas cards were always unique and saved).
I was quite saddened to hear of Patty’s passing, and extend to her husband, John, condolences, as he will surely miss his lifelong best friend, dancing partner, traveling companion, etc. Although I did not know Patty well during our years at SPHS, I had come to know & appreciate her during the last several years through email correspondence and some phone contacts. Among other things, I found her observations and recommendations related to places to visit around the world useful, (as I especially valued her opinions based on her many-decades career as a flight attendant). Undoubtedly, plenty of others besides John will miss this special person.
