US Army: Enlisted right out of high school, served with the occupation forces in Japan.

US Air Force: Fighter pilot and Forward Air Controller (over 5,000 flight hours and 320 combat missions), aeronautical engineer, engineering & logistics management, technical intelligence.

After retiring from the Air Force, worked for Lockheed for several years before retiring a second time.

As of October 2024, I continue to teach and practice martial arts (Aikido and Taiji) as 6th degree black belt and Senior Advisor of the Loudoun Valley Ki Society.
