Moved to town in mid-9th grade and lived on Arroyo Drive, later moving to Amberwood Drive on Raymond Hill, and Monterey Road. After graduation, moved back to Pasadena, where I had attended K-8, and attended PCC.

Married in 1964 and lived on State Street and then on Mound St, right behind Colliau Chevrolet.

Late husband Bruce De Sha was co-owner of Speers TV until his death from brain cancer in 1989.

In 15 years, we've raced at Sonoma, Laguna Seca, Coronado Naval Air Station, Buttonwillow, Fontana, and Indianapolis, and won Best of Class trophies from two Monterey Historic Races, and a Sonoma Historic.

Enjoy my 90-mile RT weekly commute to San Simeon to see the elephant seals and share their fascinating lives with visitors. Docents are on duty 10am-4pm, every day of the year! Drive up Highway 1 and stop on by.

Love Charlie Shumake's Fabulous Famous Jazz Series, with visiting world-class musicians, in Cambria. Wonderful.

Enjoying retirement: visiting friends; occasionally playing bridge, Mah Jong, Mexican Train; sharing our amazing Northern elephant seals with tourists from all over the world.

Most of all, seeing and appreciating something beautiful every single day, while counting my many blessings with living on the fabulous Central Coast that I now call home.
