California, South Viet Nam; East Anglia, England; Denver

Move to So Pas from Arizona in about 1957; after SPHS joined the USAF and went to the USAF Academy expecting to become an aerospace engineer but the Viet Nam war came along and I got diverted into being a fighter pilot in Viet Nam and then in Europe (somewhat now in reflection what I see as my lost decade). Jean and I married right after I returned from Viet Nam and lived in the United Kingdom for 3+ year.

Then moved to Denver for graduate school in engineering and later in law. I spent 24 years at a large law firm before going to a solo practice in mediation, arbitration and facilitation.

We have been in the same house in central Denver for now over 40 years - in an older section of Denver with lots in walking distance.

Family history living in South Pasadena

Moved there in 1957, and I think there was a McMahon child at SPHS continually for about 20 years.

Strange coincidence is that a USAF chaplain and family friend of 35+yrs was assigned to work at Holy Family in So Pas

School Memories

It is very nice to have such fond memories of SPHS; some friends seemed to have endured high school, but it seemed at So Pas was very enjoyable. Good friends and memories. I suppose in candor too much importance was placed (or I placed to much) on football. Seemed very important at the time.
