My wife, Annie, and I live in Manhattan Beach CA. She is an editor for Sony Studios Studios in Culver City CA, where I claim, "she gets paid to watch tv and movies all day long!".
I work for Northrop Grumman in Redondo Beach CA. I test the propulsion system of communication satellites built by the company, then I travel to rocket launch centers around the world to put rocket fuel in the satellites in preparation for launch into space. The most interesting work travel sites have been in China, Russia, Kazakhstan and French Guiana. I try to learn a bit of the language of the countries I visit. One of the recent projects was fueling the James Webb Space Telescope which replaced the Hubble Telescope and sends back incredible photos from space.
