"After graduation I worked at the Pasadena Daily News as proof reader and was there until I married a few years later.  I was a resident in South Pasadena from 1902, when we moved there from the Midwest, until 1918 when I moved to Arizona with my husband, son Howard, and daughter Miriam."

Edna was the oldest living graduate the reunion committee was able to locate.  She was a member of South Pasadena High School’s first graduating class of 1907.  She served as the Homecoming Queen of the Grand Reunion in 1982.

Edna Faye Goldman, 96, of 47 East Vernon, died September 6, 1983, at Desert Terrace Nursing Home.

Mrs Goldman was born in McPherson, Kansas and moved to Arizona from South Pasadena, California in 1918. She lived in Jerome before moving to Phoenix in 1936. She was a 60-year member of the Order of Eastern Star and member of First Congregational Church.

Survivors include her son, Howard, four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
