Hiram G 'Hi' Sherman, 85, a resident of Albuquerque since 1946, passed away on June 22, 1996, after a lengthy illness. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Patsy; daughter-in-law, Anita Sherman; sister, Grace Sherman Lewis (SPHS '33) of Idaho Falls, Idaho; sister-in-law Marion Bue; and brother-in-law, John Winton. He was predeceased by two sons, Jay and Jeffrey Sherman.

Mr Sherman was a longtime member of the Albuquerque Rotary Club and active member of the Tennis Club of Albuquerque, prior to his illness. He served in the US Air Force for four years in Italy in World War II and left the service as a Major.

Hi was associated with the food brokerage firm of Woodson Associates, Inc and retired in 1980.
