Esther Ellen Novitski of Eugene, Oregon died March 1, 2008 of age-related causes at age 87. She was born May 13, 1920, in Kernville, California, to Charles and Ellen Breeze Rudkin.
She married Edward Novitski on April 23, 1943, in New Haven, Connecticut. Her husband died previously.
She attended Pasadena City College and worked as an editor. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include two sons, Charles of Mount Pleasant, Michigan, and Paul of Winlaw, British Columbia; two daughters, B.J. Novitski of Eugene and Ellen Novitski of Seattle; and seven grandchildren.
