Robert King Dies at Age 21 in SoPas

Robert Malcolm King, 21, a 1966 South Pasadena High School graduate who had gone through that city's public school system, died at his parents' home in South Pasadena Wednesday, January 15, 1969.

King, who was born in Holyoke, Mass., lived in South Pasadena for the past 16 years, and attended Marengo Elementary School, South Pasadena Junior High, as well as South Pasadena High School.  He recently had been employed as a printer by Western Kraft in Los Angeles, and as a boy he delivered both the Independent and Star-News papers.

The son of Mr. & Mrs. Malcolm R. King of 1003 Indiana Ave., South Pasadena, he lived at that address with his wife, Anne Shanahan King and their 3-year-old daughter, Julie-Anne.  He is also survived by his brothers, Jeffrey, Cushman, Carleton, Russell, and Nathan King.
