Janet Beckwith Hawkins, a resident of Porterville, California, died August 17, 2006.  She was 84.

Mrs. Hawkins was a native of Los Angeles.  She was a Pink Lady and member of the Methodist Church.  She is survived by one daughter, Marcia Greene of Porterville; two sons, Richard Hawkins of Bonsall and David Hawkins of Porterville; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Hawkins in 1997.
