Dan was awarded the Silver Star for his heroism as a medic in Viet Nam as well as the Purple Heart...along with my sentiments that he was a caring and amazing person in so many ways--the best brother anyone could ever have; I think of him every day and miss him dearly. My son, Daniel, is named after him.

Danny was my first roommate. We had an apartment on Hurlbut St. In Pasadena in 1964, for 3 months. It turned into a poker den pretty fast. Great memories. Dan was one of the truly nice guys.
