Thom certainly deserves comment and a memory, as do so many others...... We wrote poems, he ran over me in football, we tilled the same ground in Walla Walla and I gave him my tipi there.  The one poem I have recorded of his from back a long time ago but not really so far,  has the last verse as:

Sunyata my gladness, emptiness my sadness;

My life stirs between them and that is my madness.

To be or not to be, there is no choice,

Its only a question I raise with my voice

That has no answer but to cry and rejoice

"For my life I must die again and again"

There was no beginning, there will be no end.   (Thom Edgar..1980s?)
