William J May

On September 14, 2018, William J May, loving husband, father, and grandfather of three, passed away at the age of 71 of cancer. Bill was born on November 28, 1946 in Newark, New Jersey to Helen and William May. He received his BA in Accounting from Cal State Los Angeles and became a Certified Public Accountant. He opened his own firm, May Consulting Group, Inc. in 1978 in Pasadena.

Bill married Patricia Guiltinan in 1972 and they were married for 46 fun and exciting years. They raised two children, Scott and Lynn. They also had three grandchildren. Bill was passionate about the Pasadena community. Some of the organizations he gave himself to were:  Tournament of Roses, Honorary Life Member of the Pasadena Jaycees, past president of the Pasadena Exchange Club, member of the Quarterbacks Club, member of the Pasadena and Arcadia Chamber of Commerce, Board of Directors of the Salvation Army, Business Network International, member of The University Club, member of Monrovia BIZness Breakfast Club, board of directors for non-profits such as:  The SEALove Foundation, Project Cuddle, and Present Now. Bill was also a veteran of the United States Army from 1965 - 1969,

Bill is also survived by his brother Jack May '71. He was predeceased by brother, Tim May '73.
