Pamela Livingston Hames

I did architectural drafting for 5 years. I spent the next several years as a full time mother. In the early 70's I went back to school to get a teaching credential and a MA. I taught various grades K - 12, but most of my career was teaching English as a Second Language. I retired in 1991. Since then I have been doing plant propagation as well as other volunteer activities.

Since 1954 I have lived in South Pasadena. This allowed my children and grandchildren to attend and graduate from So. Pasa. High School, where I also taught for 4 years.

My deceased husband, Foster, was also a S. P. graduate. Foster's family moved here in 1931. My family lived here in 1933 and 1934. We moved back here in 1943.

My sister (deceased) as well as her husband, Fred Dahl are S. P. graduates. My sister-in-law, Nancy Hames Barnoski is a S. P. graduate. She now lives in Los Altos, CA. My cousin, Paul Johnson is also a S. P. graduate.
