Bonnie Marie Baumann (Timpson) - Class Of 1958

Bonnie Marie Baumann (Timpson)

Bonnie Timpson left this earth on the wings of Angels on May 30, 2014, due to complications of diabetes. She was born April 16, 1940 to Ernest and Verla Gonzer Baumann in Los Angeles, California.

Bonnie wed Warren Timpson on August 27, 1958 and had five beautiful children. Her life revolved around her children and her church. Later, she went back to college and became a Registered Nurse.

Bonnie was predeceased by her parents and husband, Warren Timpson. She is survived by her brother Bob (SPHS '59) and his wife, Maribeth Holm Baumann (SPHS '62); son Robert Timpson; four daughters, Robin Smith, Kelly and Gary Habersetzer, Karen and Tim Patin, and Rebecca Sebenius; 17 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Bonnie's pleasing personality, kindness, and sympathetic understanding endeared her to the hearts of everyone. Many people have called her "Mom" as she would love to talk about art and sciences, as well as sharing her passion for world travel.

Often it is very difficult to memorialize a dear friend after they have passed away.  Bonnie was my closest friend and like a sister at SP Junior High and at SPHS.  Bonnie would walk home with me after school and do her homework until her Dad picked her up after his work day.  She was a lovely person, great fun and a good student.  Bonnie married Warren Timpson from Glendale who introduced me to my future husband, Toby Baker, also from Glendale.  I was one of Bonnie's bridesmaids when she married "Tippy" at Oneonta Congregational Church.  So wonderful to see the amazing family they created together!  Rest In Peace dear friend!
With love,
Lynnie
