Jean was such a wonderful class mate. Kind to all who had the pleasure to know her. It is obvious that she had a full and happy life as the video confirmes. Beautiful family and always the terrific smile! RIP classmate.

I had a class or two with Jean. She was quiet, always so poised and so articulate when she spoke. I was envious of her beautiful smile and her clear, porcelain skin. I can still hear her laugh in that controlled manner with that perfect smile. We were not close but later we found ourselves working together at the Gas Company in Pasadena. In 1975 when I became pregnant she asked me what the first signs were. I told her and she did not comment. It was a very short time later that she announced her own pregnancy. Just like Jean to be very discreet and private. I gave birth to a girl in October and I believe her son was born not long after that. I was envious once again that she would not be returning to work but I did 10 months later parttime. I wanted to be a stay-at-home-mom too! Our lives also crossed when I bought a house on Indiana Terrace next door to her parents in 1970. I cannot recall now how we found out that coincidence or how long after the purchase we made that discovery but her parents were such nice neighbors. In 1985 my husband and I and family moved to Seal Beach so we would have been close to Huntington Beach where Jean lived. It would have been fun to catch up. I have lost three of my four older sisters and the grieving does not seem to end so I understand the loss her family feels. It looks like Jean had at least a granddaughter as I have and I am saddened for her granddaughter and other family members who had to lose her before her time. Thank you for the sweet slide show.
