Remembering the JFK Assassination

Most of us who were in school in the early '60s, well remember where we were when JFK was shot. I was playing field hockey at SPJHS. I was in the 7th grade, and we found out just as our gym class let out at the end of 4th period.
I created this layout & posted my memories of that day and weekend on my blog.

I'd love to read about your memories of that fateful and tragic day.

I was at SPHS then. We had just gotten out of an assembly/pep rally. Somebody was listening to  KRLA on a transistor radio and that's how I found out. As it was about lunch time, they let us out of school for the rest of the day and cancelled the football game. I remember a lot of people went over to Holy Family to pray. I went home and watched TV all weekend.
