The title of the post caught my eye since my sister Belinda was a member of the class of 68.  However, the post had nothing to do with her.  I was in the band.  So, I never learned the words, although I could probably at least remember the fingering on the trumpet even if I could not today play the higher (or any) notes.  The only words I remembered, sort of, were "lasting friendships."  Turns out to be true.  My best buddy from SoPas days was the "minister" at my wedding after I was (obviously) the best man at his.  We take a couple of vacations per year together, from vegetating somewhere in the Islands to pretty hard backpacks to a planned car club trip this spring.

Hey Bill! I thought this was your sister's post too! I'm Gene Clark's little sister Stefanie. Glad you're still around & can remember the fingering for the Great Alma Mater. Take care, and have fun on your big car trip.

I remember you.  Well, sort of.  Jim, Gene, Bob and I and our respective families (Gene and Joanne brought a second van as I recall since all their kids brought friends) car camped in Kings Canyon together way back when - probably close to 20 year ago now.

Belinda lives in Munchen, Germany, so I don't see a lot of her.

I made up different words to the alma mater. My friend Patty and I used to sing them. I would not dare post them on here:).
