September 23, 1945 - November 6, 1998

Alan will be remembered for his love of photography, art, music, woodworking, and sailing. Alan lived life to its fullest, traveling the world during his career in photography. 

He is survived by three brothers, George '68, Richard '70, and Roy '72, his father, his 101-year-old grandmother, and many nieces and nephews.

Jean Pennington (1963)

 I remember at Marengo Elementary, Alan Ainsworth moved away and when he returned a couple of years later, his teeth had been fixed and he had grown a lot taller. The girls swooned and walked around saying, "Oh, Alan!" I thought they were crazy.

George Keith Ainsworth (1968)

my older brother Alan was about as talented an artist, photographer, carpenter,and producton asst. as a person could be. he traveled all over the world as a professional phtographer.He loved motor cycles ,taking pictures, and gadgets He worked with marty evans and linn cariffe,both sucessful LA photo studios.He had 3 long term girl friends but never married. HE WAS AND WILL BE SADLY MISSED BY HIS FRIENDS AND FAMILY. He is surived by his brothers George, Richard,and Roy . nephews Sky and Adam. also sisters in law Verna ,Rae and Linda Ainsworth.Sept. 23,1945-nov.6,1998...posted 2/18/2012 by george ainsworth class of 1968
