William 'Bill' Cannon died November 19, 1984 at a Roswell hospital. He was born October 10, 1928 in Los Angeles, California and raised in San Marino where he attended school and then graduated from South Pasadena-San Marino High School. He attended the University of New Mexico and graduated in 1954 with a degree in Business Administration. He moved to Carlsbad in 1964 and opened his own business. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, and the New Mexico Society of CPA's. He served in the Korean War.

Bill is survived by his wife, Kay, of Carlsbad; one son, Craig Cannon, El Paso, Texas; two daughters, Dr Virginia Cannon, MD, Birmingham, Alabama and Christine May, Albuquerque; one brother, James Cannon (SPHS '43) of La Canada, California; and his mother Ruth Cannon, San Marino.
