Albert Doerr, Developer of Mines, Dies

Albert Edward Doerr, 64, developer and owner of family-owned mining property in Mexico and resident of San Marino and Pasadena, died of leukemia in Los Angeles Thursday.

Mr. Doerr, who attended public school in South Pasadena and was a graduate of Stanford University, had been active in Mexican mining interests the past 15 years.

He was a member of the Valley Hunt Club and the University Club of Mexico City.

He leaves his wife, Harriet; a son, Michael; daughter, Martha, and two sisters, Mrs. Lynn Spencer and Mrs. Robert Black.

There will be no funeral services, but the family suggested that contributions could be made to two memorial funds, the City of San Marino-El Molino Viejo Fund and the Albert Doerr Fund for School Development, Asientos, Auguas Calientes, Mexico.
