Edward Fogg
October 17, 1908 - May 18, 1993
Edward P Fogg, 84, of San Bernardino died of heart failure Tuesday at home.
A native of Fort Worth, Texas, Fogg lived in San Bernardino 48 years and was a retired Superior Court Judge. He attended Occidental College at Glendale, Stanford University and Harvard University Law School. He was a member of the California Bar Association, State Judicial Council for Municipal Court Judges; Committee for Canon of Episcopal Church; Selection Committee for Episcopal Bishops; Standing Committee of Los Angeles Episcopal Diocese; San Bernardino Masonic Lodge 348; San Bernardino Elks Lodge 836; Fraternal Order of Eagles, San Bernardino Aerie 506; and Council of San Bernardino County 4H Clubs.
He was a member of the American Dairy Goat Association and a licensed dairy goat judge; past president of the Rotary Club in Needles; past master, Needles Masonic Lodge, founding PTA member at Mitchell School; past president, San Bernardino Exchange Club and recipient of Golden Deeds Award; volunteer career counselor, Jerry L Pettis Memorial Veterans Hospital; past president, San Bernardino County Council of Churches; and founding member of Vestry of St Francis Episcopal Church. He served on the board of directors for the American Red Cross, Family Services Agency and YMCA and as a delegate to Tri-Annual Governing Body of Episcopal Church.
Survivors include his wife, Jane; a daughter, Phoebe Neigel of San Bernardino; three sons, Edward Jr of Olathe, Colorado, James of Barstow, and Fred of San Bernardino; a brother, Fred T of South Pasadena; 15 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
