In Memory

Dorothy K Werder (Moran) - Class Of 1936

Dorothy K Werder (Moran)

Dorothy Kathleen Werder Moran, Respected and adored, our Mother returned to the God she believed in so deeply on June 18, 2007. Beloved wife, mother of three, grandmother of nine, great- grandmother of twelve, educator of hundreds. Indeed, our mother defined the word "lady." She was an example of how life should be lived and was the guiding light of our family. Mom leaves a legacy of honesty, compassion and caring. She blessed us all with her warm and gracious manner and unconditional love. God and family were everything to her and this reflected in all she did. Dorothy was one of those people who moved gently over this Earth but caught a piece of your heart as she passed. A remarkable woman, our mother had many challenges throughout her life's journey. She met them all with grace, dignity and courage. And, even though a battle with a ten-year illness eroded her capabilities - she remained a lovely steel magnolia. In Heaven, mom joins her husband Paul, son Michael, parents Dorothy and Jack Werder, brothers Jim and Will Werder and sons-in-law Leo Nedeff and Bob Fosselman (SPHS '46). To forever honor her name - daughters Carole Nedeff and Claudia Moran Fosselman (SPHS '64) will do their best to follow her loving life example.
