Frances Lane (Bailey)

Frances Lane Bailey born October 16, 1920 in Newkirk, Oklahoma, passed away on November 2, 2001.  She came to California in 1934 at age 13 with her parents, settling in South Pasadena.  She attended South Pasadena High School, graduating at the age of 16.  She attended Sawyer Business School after high school and worked at First Western Bank and Lloyds until her retirement at age of 63.

She met Reginald at South Pasadena Christian Church where she sang in the choir and played the organ.  They were married November 25, 1941, a union blessed with two daughters and lasting 51 years.  After both daughters went to college, Frances and Reginald decided it was time to travel.  They went to England and Scotland, and Wales, where Reginald was born.  They traveled all over Europe until Reginald's death in 1995.  Frances then moved to Valencia to be near Janie.

She is survived by her daughters Janie (JD) and Debra (Richard) Morris; three grandchildren, Jonathan, Jeffrey, and Jaclyn.  Preceding her in death was her husband Reginald Bailey.
