Sue Houts Stilson

August 4, 1924 - August 1, 2002

Sue died peacefully in her Eld Inlet home, surrounded by her family. Born in Pasadena to Clifton Frederick Houts and Mary Elda Kimmel, she died three days short of her 78th birthday. An avid stamp collector, Sue also enjoyed watching the birds attracted to her backyard sanctuary, was an indoor plant horticulturist, a shell collector, and was very interested in Northwest Native American culture, amongst a wide variety of other interests.

Sue is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Malcolm (SPHS '41); her children, Ann, Lee, Randy, and Scott; seven grandchildren, and many friends.
