Corinne Thrush, born October 31, 1926, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, died April 10, 2002. She moved to Shasta County from Tustin in 1986.

Mrs. Thrush was employed by Beckman Instruments Inc. in Fullerton for 25 years. She retired in 1986 but held parttime jobs at the Shasta Blood Center and Senior Legal Center in Redding. She also served as mentor at the House of Hope and Good News Rescue Mission in Redding.

Survivors include husband Jack; stepsons Van Kinney of Redding and Robert Kinney of Los Gatos; stepdaughters Deborah Kinney of Hillsdale, New York, Peggy Richmond of Glendale and Connie Gerwin of Wilton, New Hampshire; and two stepgranddaughters.
