She was an avid "knitter" all her life and taught many others how to knit. She also designed patterns that were published in popular knitting magazines. Her passions included being outdoors, tennis, gardening, watercolor, calligraphy, and she enjoyed attending the ballet and concerts. She was a member of the following Mill Valley groups; Outdoor Art Club, AAUW, PEO, the Old Mill Volunteers and the Altar Guild of the Church of Our Savior where she produced the flower arrangements for Sunday services. She also worked as a volunteer for approximately 25 years at Marin General Hospital.

Bruce and Nancy lived in Mill Valley since 1955. They shared a mutual enjoyment of travel, which took them to many countries around the world. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, her two sons, Gregg Wrisley of Sebastopol, CA and Michael Wrisley of Petaluma, CA and three granddaughters.
