Wallace "Wally" Hurff - Class Of 1946

Wallace Wally Hurff

Wallace Hurff peacefully passed away June 14, 2004 following a short illness.  He lived in San Marino, Altadena, and 40 years in Sierra Madre where he raised his three children with his wife Jan.

Mr. Hurff attended South Pasadena High School, New Mexico Military Institute and the University of Southern California where he received a degree in Business Administration. 

He served in the National Guard 40th Division in Korea.  Wally enjoyed the ocean, mountains, and was a member of the Pasadena Rough Riders jeep club.  His great loves were his wife, children, their spouses, and four grandchildren.  He is survived by his wife Janith (McCready), his daughter Wendy Helstrom, sons Jeff and Brett, grandchildren Britt, Cliff, Garrett, and Tara, and his sister Barbara Parks.  He will be missed by all.

Blake Hamilton (1946)

We had many great times together. The time your father got us tickets for your birthday to "THE BLACKOUTS" The summer of 1944 when we worked at Yosimite National Park. Regret that we did not stay closer in touch. Blake
